Exam Insiders (“we”, “us”) runs examinsiders.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have. If you have a question about it, email us at info@examinsiders.com.
Information you give us
- Contact form and email. When you use our contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address and your message. Contact form submissions are stored on our website and emailed to us.
- Review requests from course providers. When a provider asks us to review its courses, we collect the company name and website, the contact’s name and email address, the courses and exams involved, any notes and, if a call is requested, a preferred day and time. Requests are stored on our website and emailed to us, and we email a confirmation to the address given.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use the site. It uses cookies to collect information such as the pages you view, how long you stay, the site that referred you, your device and browser type and your approximate location. Google processes this information under Google’s Privacy Policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our servers record basic technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time.
- Spam protection. To stop repeated automated submissions, our forms briefly keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address.

We only send marketing emails if you’ve agreed to receive them, and every one includes a way to unsubscribe.
How we share information
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for targeted advertising. We share it only:
- With service providers that run parts of the site for us, such as website hosting, email delivery and analytics. They may use it only to provide their services to us.
- When the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Exam Insiders, our readers or others.
- As part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.
How long we keep information
We keep messages and review requests for as long as we need them to respond and keep a record of our work with providers. Google Analytics data is kept for the period set in our Google Analytics account, after which Google deletes it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections and restricted access, to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email info@examinsiders.com and we’ll respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first. Depending on where you live, state law may give you additional rights, and we’ll honor them as the law requires.
Children
Exam Insiders is for adults preparing for professional licenses. It isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we’ll delete it.
Where information is stored
Exam Insiders is based in the United States, and your information is stored and processed in the United States.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
